Allergy Free Down Comforter
Breathe Easy with an Allergy Free Down Comforter
Allergies can make your life miserable, but there is no
need to do without life’s luxuries when you can have an
allergy free down comforter. All you have to do is find
the allergy free down comforter that is right for you.
Allergies caused by down, or goose feather, bedding
don’t have to mean you can never enjoy the comfort of a
down comforter. Ogallala bedding uses white, fluffy
goose down blended with clusters of syriaca from
Nebraska farms. Syriaca, also known as milkweed, looks
like soft and silky clusters of goose down but it traps
the allergens in goose down that cause allergies.
This combination of syriaca and goose down is called
Hypodown, and comes in three grades. The 600 fill power
grade uses European goose down, the 700 fill power grade
uses Hungarian goose down, and the highest quality 800
fill power grade uses Baltic goose down. Hypodown
allergy free comforter sets have been tested in the US,
Hungary and Germany, each test showing that people with
allergies can use this allergy free down comforter
without allergic reactions.
Ogallala hypodown comforters come in a wide range of
styles and colors to suit your bedroom decor, so you
don’t have to compromise on the look you want to get an
allergy free night’s sleep.
If it not the down you are allergic to, but the dust and
allergens that accumulate in the comforter filling, then
hypoclean is the way to go. The goose down is thoroughly
cleaned of all impurities and encased in tightly woven
fabric to prevent allergens and dust mites getting in.
Hypocleaning involves washing the down thoroughly and
rinsing several times to make sure all the allergens are
removed. Down treated this way is many times cleaner
than down that hasn’t been hypocleaned.
Pacific Coast makes a range of allergy free down
comforters that will help you breathe easier at night.
The Pacific Coast Feather Dual Temperature King Down
Comforter looks in every way like a normal cozy
comforter but is filled with hyperclean down and comes
with an allergy free warranty. This allergy free down
comforter is covered with barrier leak proof fabric to
keep the hyperclean down in pristine condition, and the
dual temperature design gives maximum nighttime comfort,
providing half medium warmth and half light warmth in
one comforter.
The pacific Coast Grandia is 20 per cent larger than
regular comforters to give more luxurious drape, but it
is filled with the same hypoclean down.
Another alternative is the Allersoft membrane-free duvet
and comforter casing that you can put over a regular
comforter. Allersoft membrane-free casing is made with a
tightly woven polyester and cotton blend that permits no
allergens to enter or leave the encased comforter. This
casing blocks dust mites and animal dander allergens,
but feels like the finest soft cotton linen and means
you can use your own comforter instead of buying a new
one. You can put a duvet or comforter cover over the
comforter and the Allersoft membrane-free encasing to
blend in with your bedroom decor.
Whichever method you choose, there is no reason why your
allergies should prevent you from enjoying night time
comfort and an elegant bedroom with an allergy free down
comforter.
