Winnie The Pooh Twin Comforter
Decorating Around A Winnie The Pooh Twin Comforter
You went through it too, wanting to have your childhood
bedroom decorated a certain way. You, of course, at the
time did not realize how expensive a process this could
be. Let me guess…you recently bought your child a Winnie
the Pooh twin comforter, and now your child wants their
whole room to be Winnie the Pooh. From sheets, to
curtains, to walls, to lamp, they want the whole
shebang. How do you do this without going broke? Have a
look at ten suggestions that you can use to compliment
the Winnie the Pooh comforter without burning a whole
through your bank account.
(1) Red or yellow curtains. By choosing either red or
yellow curtains, you compliment the colors in the Winnie
the Pooh twin comforter, and also add to the cheerful
look of the child’s bedroom without getting too
overboard with the character decorating.
(2) Winnie the Pooh wall runner. Relatively inexpensive,
adding a runner around the ceiling, or about half way
down the wall can tie the elements of the room together
in a subtle way.
(3) Winnie the Pooh nightlight. Much cheaper than a
table lamp, a nightlight can tie into the Winnie the
Pooh twin comforter and provide a sense of comfort for
your child without costing you too much money.
(4) Red or yellow sheets will tie the curtains into the
theme of the room and look like they go with the Winnie
the Pooh twin comforter, but can be purchased for as
inexpensively as six dollars each.
(5) Winnie the Pooh poster. Either frame a scene from a
book, or purchase a poster and put it on the back of the
door or over your child’s bed. One neat way to do this
would be to frame pictures of all of the old fashioned
Winnie the Pooh drawings of different characters.
(6) If you are more artistically inclined, or know
someone who is, you could always paint a picture of
Winnie the Pooh on the wall to go with the Winnie the
Pooh twin comforter. A scene from one of the books
should make a good template for this.
(7) Set of Winnie the Pooh books. On your child’s
bookshelf (which would look great in a primary color to
compliment the curtains) make sure that the Winnie the
Pooh books are prominently displayed.
(8) Primary color furniture is important to compliment
the color scheme that is already in place. Plastic
children’s shelving and Yaffa like crates are available
at most department stores very inexpensively. If your
child already has furniture, painting it in primary
colors is a great way to tie it in to the theme that you
have based around the Winnie the Pooh twin comforter.
(9) Winnie the Pooh knobs on the dressers/closets. This
may be hard to find, but is a great subtle accent.
(10) A cream colored base for the walls. With all of the
reds and yellows going on, you don’t want to bright a
background color for it all to be bouncing off of!
