Complimenting Your Wildlife Comforter Set
There are a lot of advantages to decorating with a
theme. It gives a focus to your shopping, and it is a
lot easier to tie things back to a single item, then to
try and coordinate a lot of separate things in one room.
In bedrooms, the easiest way to do this is probably to
base your decorating scheme around your comforter. A
wildlife comforter set, for example, lends itself to a
specific color theme, but also to subtle accents of
other colors and easy wall hanging accents. Below, I
have listed ten ways that you can compliment your
wildlife comforter set without overwhelming the theme.
(1) Pick a subtle color that is a complimenting color in
the wildlife comforter set. For example, the color of
small bird or a leaf that is repeated in the pattern,
but that is not a large object. Use this color as the
color for painting your bedroom walls.
(2) Pick another color that compliments the wall color,
but that is also in the wildlife comforter set and use
that when choosing curtains. You can either purchase
curtains in that color, or buy the material to create
your own curtains and use an extra pillow case to accent
the curtains and tie them into the wildlife comforter
set.
(3) Buy throw pillows that match the curtains. This will
pull the curtains into the bed and help to make the
wildlife comforter set the central piece of your
decorating scheme.
(4) Use neutral wood colors for your dressers,
bookshelves, etc.
(5) Choose a natural looking piece of accent furniture
like a popason chair or an indoor hammock to compliment
the natural feel of the wildlife comforter set.
(6) Choose either photos or drawings or wildlife that
compliments your colors and frame them in wooden frames
to go with the furniture. Use them sparingly, just to
break up the wall a little bit.

like lamps and other electrical devices that are more
likely to be metal and mechanical in appearance.
(8) Put at least one plant in the room. Not only will it
tie the natural feel into the room and not just in the
wildlife comforter set, but it is good for the air.
Either a small palm like tree or a hanging spider fern
plant is a good choice for indoors.
(9) If you have natural wood doors for your closets and
bedroom door, do not paint over them. The natural wood
color goes better with a wildlife comforter set than any
color you could paint over it.
(10) Add an accent like a fern or something comparable
on the wall. It is simple to paint and is not as
obtrusive as a store bought wallpaper or runner.
All of these options are a little bit open ended,
because as in any other space, you need to put your own
personality into it. Especially since it is a bedroom,
your own take on the wildlife comforter set will be
important to how comfortable you feel in your own space.
