Waverly Plaid Comforter
Guide to Waverly Plaid Comforter Collections
Waverly’s new collections provide a little bit of
something for everyone with several different garden
themed rooms, those who go for more bold, solid
patterns, to those who are a bit at odds with their
partners about home decorating. Everyone will be happy
to see that Waverly, in their new Garden Rooms
collection, appeals to both traditional and modern
sensibilities.
With their reversible Waverly plaid
comforter, available in almost all of the styles that
the florals come in, Waverly transcends the traditional
sense of garden furnishings to accommodate the elegant,
feminine, bold, and masculine. Each of the Garden Room
collection’s signature styles features a more bold
feeling reverse comforter. Not all of them feature the
Waverly plaid comforter, but each of them have a
distinct alternative option to the typical floral
pattern.
Spring blossom is the first of the collections featuring
a Waverly garden image comforter. It is bright and warm
with pale greens and yellows and a dull dusty pink and
features bold pink, green, and yellow stripes on the
reverse side. While it does not feature the Waverly
plaid comforter, it does feature a bolder alternative to
the floral print.
Harbor Square is the second of the Waverly Garden Room
collections. The Harbor Square Waverly plaid comforter
mixes a bold black background with the pale pinks and
bright whites of the flowers that pop out against the
black background on the reverse side.
Carolina Gardens is rich, elegant, and soft. It features
pinks, greens, and pale yellows. Carolina Gardens does
not have a reverse side Waverly plaid comforter, and
it’s much more feminine than the other pieces in the
collection.
The Wellington collection is a simple black and white
comforter set. This is the most masculine of the pieces
in the Garden Room collection, with thin black sketching
mixed with a bold checkered pattern, it is definitely
the most prevalent in its featuring of the reverse
Waverly plaid comforter. It has a modern, sophisticated,
and decidedly Parisian take on the idea of florals.
This collection is incredibly easy to coordinate with
other items, and the simple black and white colors make
it an easy fit in almost any room. It features scalloped
borer, a black checkered reverse side and matching throw
pillows that coordinate to the Waverly plaid comforter
for a great mix of contemporary and French countryside.
The Garden Room collection lastly features a style
called Vintage Rose. While the charming floral pattern
is definitely vintage, the bright pinks and reds and
matching stripes on the underside of the Waverly garden
image comforter and the matching throws are bold and
contemporary. They are not quite the Waverly plaid
comforter, but definitely are close in feel to the
patterns featured in the Wellington collection. This mix
makes this Waverly garden image comforter a great fit
for a modern room with cast irons and bold curves or a
more traditional wood based bedroom.
A couple of the other Waverly collections this season
feature the Waverly plaid comforter, but none so
prominently as the garden room collection. These prints
are a great compromise for anyone on the fence about
home decorating.
